A lively, friendly and well-attended Coffee Hour is provided in our parish house, Fisher House, each Sunday after the 10 AM service. Our average combined attendance for both services is between 80-100 people.
In parishioners’ own words, the Church of the Messiah maintains “openness to others, acceptance of diversity, embracing of children, friendliness” and is a community of “lots of wonderful people, with many interesting personalities.” Most important, perhaps, at the Church of the Messiah “you can be who you are,” whether one of the children or one of the older parishioners who are appreciated, in the words of one person, for “sharing their wisdom and strength with us.”
