Like the rest of the Episcopal Church, our parish is intentionally inclusive. The members of the Church of the Messiah range from lifelong residents of the Woods Hole and Falmouth area to newcomers to the Upper Cape. Some of us have strong roots in the Episcopal Church, and some of us may or may not have been part of a church community before.
No matter who we are and where we come from, all of us are seeking the Presence of God, which we celebrate in the breaking of bread, sharing of fellowship, spiritual and intellectual inquiry, and opportunities to serve God by serving others and the creation on which we all depend. If you are seeking a place where your presence will be honored, your mind challenged, and your heart opened, welcome.
We Are:
- Committed to serving God by serving neighbors near and far;
- Affirming the dignity of every human being;
- Believing we are called to be stewards of creation.
